Volunteering

Rainbow Valley Animal Sanctuary is a demanding full-time commitment. All animals receive care 7 days a week, 365 days of the year. This is managed with the help of regular supporters and volunteers.

An average day is spent cleaning out all the houses and stables and then tending to the needs of the animals from feeding and grooming to arranging the vet or farrier. In between there are always plenty of jobs to be done year on year, including painting sheds, clearing the fields, arranging events and corresponding to all the existing supporters by way of birthday cards, emails and newsletters.

We have a small group of helpers, but there is always plenty to do and if you wish to volunteer your services from mucking out or even arranging events to raise money and awareness, then please contact us.
