About The SanctuaryBackground
Rainbow Valley was set up by Lin East in 1996 to care for ponies and goats that are very old, young, sick or injured. The sanctuary is situated in 28 acres of land, providing homes for to up to 16 goats, 20 ponies and horses plus an array of other smaller animals. Where possible we try to rehome or loan out ponies, horses and goats. Rainbow Valley Sanctuary is home to the old and bedraggled, the unwanted and the unloved! It is not a dumping ground for people who have grown tired of the responsibility of caring for their animals or perhaps want rid of a small pony to get a bigger one. We are here not only to take ponies and horses out of serious situations but also to help people with serious health issues by caring for their animal on a temporary basis whilst they have treatment and recover. Please do not take advantage of our caring nature and use the sanctuary as a place to offload your responsibilities. |
